Printing on optically clear window film

By using our wide format printers to recreate graphics on optically clear window film, it’s possible to deliver the appearance of intricate, cut graphics, perfect for use on shopfronts or when adding complex branding elements or text to glazing. By using a film that is virtually undetectable to the naked eye, once printed, it is only the printed area that will be visible. 

Print and Privacy

By printing onto Frostbrite frosted window film, it’s possible to deliver eye-catching graphics while also delivering privacy. Frostbrite is an incredibly popular, long lasting and durable window film that once applied, will give glazing the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass. This effect will block the view from both sides of the glass while giving a stylish new look that also allows for excellent light transmission.

The film also provides a perfect surface on which to print, meaning that custom graphics can be printed directly onto the film, creating a bespoke decorative privacy solution. Particularly popular on glass partitions, this approach is also popular for meeting manifestation requirements.

Making the most of manifestation

Manifestation markings are required by building regulations and are designed to help avoid accidents by making otherwise difficult to see glass easily visible. These markings are normally required on floor to ceiling glazing such as glass partitions and doors and must be located at specific points on the pane. Any manifestation must contrast with the background in order to function, but apart from these stipulations, the appearance of manifestation markings is down to the owner of the premises, in turn making it a great opportunity to add stylish graphics to glazing.
