The Contra Vision methods of printing are a number of techniques that deliver one-way graphics, suitable for use in a host of situations – on windows, shop fronts, internal glass partitions, on bus, tram or train windows; the opportunities for one-way graphics are plenty. But which method is right for you, and how is it achieved?
Contra Vision Performance™
This is perhaps the most well-known method of creating one-way graphics. This process involves printing onto a perforated film. The printed side is visible to the exterior, whilst on the inside the film remains blank – the human eye linking together the thousands of small round holes in the film to allow for a view to the exterior.
Contra Vision Impress™
The beauty of this method is that the one-way effect can be achieved by printing onto an optically clear film, when using the perforated method is not desirable or appropriate. An added benefit of the Impress technique is that it allows for the printing of a double-design, with a different set of graphics on each side of the film.
The effect is achieved by printing several layers of ink, starting with the image in CMYK, followed by a layer of white before finishing with a layer of black.
The Window Film Company uses state of the art print technology, including an Oce Arizona flatbed printer, which allows for printing with unerring accuracy. This means that the one-way effects are achieved perfectly, delivering both a striking image and visibility.
Whatever your message, style or brand, one-way graphics are an excellent way of getting noticed, delivering an element of one way privacy or adding an extra decorative twist to your property or premises.
