GEOMETRIC STYLE DELIVERS PRIVACY AND MANIFESTATION

The Window Film Company has completed an extensive installation of bespoke window film to deliver a stylish privacy solution while also meeting manifestation requirements, throughout a large office space in the City of London.

Since being founded in 1998, The Window Film Company has been an industry leader in not only the supply and installation of window film, but also in the creation of custom, bespoke solutions. This has been achieved by incorporating a dedicated print department, boasting state of the art printers and computer cutting technology, with this equipment used to deliver eye-catching and unique graphics, signage, branding and decorative upgrades for glass and other surfaces.

On this occasion, the Window Film Company was engaged to recreate a geometric pattern that would deliver privacy and meet manifestation requirements throughout the large premises.

Manifestation markings are required for a simple but important reason; to ensure that large panels of glass (usually glass partitions or doors) are easily visible, in turn making sure that potentially nasty accidents are avoided. Regulations dictate that markings must be present at a specific point on the glass, must be of a minimum size and must provide an appearance that provides a visible contrast with the background.

Window film is the perfect material for delivering on manifestation markings, with Frostbrite frosted film among the most frequently chosen products. Frostbrite gives standard glass the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass, providing the necessary contrast with the background. It can also be cut or printed onto to deliver a custom finish and bespoke appearance.

For this project, a repeated geometric design was computer cut from the Frostbrite film and applied to glass throughout he large premises by a team of The Window Film Company’s qualified, expert fitters. Once in place, the film not only provided aesthetically pleasing manifestation markings, but also delivered an element of stylish privacy – Frostbrite frosted film blocks the view from both sides of the glass.
