GORGEOUS GRAPHICS AND WHITEBOARD WONDER

The Window Film Company has helped transform an office space, using an eye-catching and impressive range of printed graphics.

The large office in London featured a number of glass partitions and doors, with the client requiring a number of different upgrades and additions to the glass, including the creation of a writeable whiteboard, privacy, branding and decoration.

The majority of the project utilised bespoke printed Frostbrite frosted window film. Frostbrite is The Window Film Company’s high performance frosted window film solution, a film that once applied will give standard glass the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass. This serves to not only change the appearance of the glass, but also delivers a stylish privacy solution, blocking the view from both sides of the glass.

Frostbrite also provides an excellent surface on which to print, and The Window Film Company uses state of the art print equipment to recreate imagery or other designs onto the film.

The results for this project were striking, with the custom created graphics reproduced in pin sharp and vibrant colour, creating an eye-catching and professional looking display throughout the office. As well as delivering a stunning visual effect, the printed window film also served to create an element of privacy while also meeting manifestation marking requirements - markings that are required by Building Regulations to ensure that glass is easily visible.

This project also included the creation of a custom whiteboard style piece of branded window film. This was achieved by printing directly onto white vinyl to display company branding. This was installed at the required location by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert installers, who then applied an extra layer of laminate to the film. This extra layer delivered the whiteboard functionality, allowing staff to write onto the vinyl and easily wipe it off again.

The final type of film used in this project was Contra Vision one-way privacy film. This film delivers one-way privacy thanks to the presence of hundreds of tiny holes. After printing on one-side of the graphics, vision is possible through the other side, with the human eye automatically seeing through the hundreds of holes to deliver a view through the installed film.

The end product was an array of eye-catching window films, all delivering a specific purpose and all adding to the look and feel of the office space, ensuring a stylish and professional appearance while providing the appropriate functional requirements.
