TREMENDOUS TRIANGLES: PRINT AND CUT GRAPHICS

The Window Film Company are industry leaders in the creation and application of custom created graphics, using state of the art print and cutting equipment to deliver eye-catching displays for glass.

This project required the printing and installing of bespoke graphics at a large office in Greater London. The graphics were required to meet manifestation requirements, with the decision made to make the manifestation as stylish as possible, acting as not only a functional requirement, but also as an added decorative element.

Manifestation markings are necessary for glass panels of a certain size; usually glass doors or partitions, and the markings, which should be of a material that provides an immediately visible contrast with the background, are required to make sure the glass is easy to see, in turn avoiding potentially dangerous and unpleasant accidents.

The markings for this project were created by printing onto and then cutting Frostbrite frosted window film, into coloured, geometric shapes.

Frostbrite frosted window film from the Window Film Company is a long lasting and durable film that gives standard glazing the appearance of frosted glazing, providing a cost-effective way of transforming the appearance of glass, negating the need for expensive replacement glazing. It also provides a great surface on which to print, and can be precision cut to create intricate designs, logos or wording.

The film was printed and cut by The Window Film Company’s in-house print and graphics team, using state of the art computer cutting equipment to ensure a precision finish, with each panel carefully checked by hand before being installed by a team of The Window Film Company’s fitting teams.

 

The end product ensured that the glass met manifestation requirements (set out in Building Regulations) while also giving the glass a stylish, professional new look.
