GOING FOR GREEN: WINDOW FILM TRANSFORMATION

The Window Film Company are experts in the transformation of glass, using state of the art print and cutting technology in tandem with high quality window films. This project saw the addition of both colour and graphics to a College in London.

The project required a decorative solution that would transform the colour of glass, with the addition of repeated, College specific text on a number of the panes, too.



It was agreed that changing the colour of the glass would be achieved by applying film from The Window Film Company’s range of rainbow window film to the glass. Rainbow film is a cost efficient, effective and impactful way of immediately canning the colour of glass, without blocking the view through the glazing or sacrificing natural light.



Available in a range of vibrant shades, the Window Film Company were able to supply and install two shades of green that met the desired design and appearance.

The second part of the project involved the addition of text to glass throughout the College. This was created by computer cutting the desired wording from Frostbite frosted film.



Frostbrite is The Window Film Company’s popular frosted window film that gives glazing the appearance of acid-etched or sandblasted glass. It’s a cost effective alternative to frosted glass, delivering the contemporary appearance at a fraction of the cost. It can also be printed on to feature imagery or graphics or, as on this occasion, cut using state of the art computer cutting equipment.



Both the cut wording and the coloured window film were applied to the appropriate window panes in the College, instantly transforming the glazing to have an impressive, professional, stylish and welcoming new look.
