FROSTBRITE THE FABULOUS PRIVACY SOLUTION

This project required an application of privacy film to windows throughout a care home in London. The film was required for ground floor glazing across the first floor of the property, with the ideal solution delivering two-way privacy without sacrificing high levels of natural light.

After discussions with the client about the requirement and the location in question, it was agreed that Frostbrite frosted window film would be the best solution.

As the name suggests, Frostbrite is designed to give standard glass the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glazing, delivering a contemporary and stylish frosted effect – without the need for costly replacement glass.

In addition to looking stylish, Frostbrite is also incredibly durable and long lasting, making it perfect for use in high traffic locations such as on glass partitions or doors. Its so tough it can also be used in bathrooms and on shower screens. The film has also been specially developed to ensure that while it does block the view from both sides of the glass, it also doesn’t make the internal environment unnecessarily dark – allowing excellent levels of light to pass through the film and into the space inside.

With the choice of film agreed, the Window Film Company’s Operations Team worked with the client to agree a suitable installation date and time, with the film subsequently fitted by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert installers to over 40 panes of differing sizes, throughout the ground floor of the property.

With the Frostbrite film in place, privacy was achieved instantly, alongside a sleek and stylish new look for the glass, that was achieved without sacrificing natural light – or the need for expensive new glass.
