WINDOW FILM ADDED TO BRADFORD LIVE CONCERT ARENA

The Window Film has completed an extensive installation of specialist safety and security window film at a new 3,800 capacity arena in Bradford.

Bradford Live is a state-of-the-art concert and event space and was built on the site of the former ODEON cinema. It has been developed ahead of Bradford being the UK’s City of Culture in 2025.

The substantial building incorporates a large number of windows and glazed elements, and The Window Film Company was engaged to add window film throughout the premises, serving to add an extra layer of protection and safety to the glass.

Safety and security window film’s primary purpose is to ensure that if glass does break, it does so in a manner that is as safe as possible. This is achieved by holding the broken glass together in the frame, instead of allowing it to shatter into shards and fall in on itself.

Film was applied across the new venue, with The Window film Company’s expert installers fitting film to over 680 panes of glass.
