LOGOS and MANIFESTATION MARKINGS

Adding a logo or branding elements to glass is an excellent way of giving premises a professional and impressive appearance, and The Window Film Company provides numerous ways of delivering such projects in a cost efficient and impactful way.

Housed at The Window Film Company’s Buckinghamshire HQ, the in-house print and graphics department is fitted out with state of the art wide-format printers and computer cutting equipment, allowing for the creation of a wide range of printed and cut graphics, for use on almost any surface.

This project, for a premises in the West Midlands, necessitated the creation and installation of logos for use as both branding and manifestation.

Manifestation markings are required by Building Regulations to ensure that glass (usually large panels such as glass partitions or doors) is easily visible, in turn serving to prevent dangerous accidents, occurring when large glass panes aren’t easily seen. One of the most popular films for meeting manifestation requirements is Frostbrite frosted window film from The Window Film Company. Frostbrite is a high quality, long lasting and stylish looking window film that gives glazing the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass, with the frosted effect serving to block the view from both sides of the glass. For this project, manifestation markings were created by cutting squares from Frostbrite frosted film and applying them to the necessary locations throughout the building.

Frostbrite was also the chosen film for the graphics element of the installation. The client supplied the company logo, which was printed in colour onto Frostbrite frosted film before being precision cut using computer cutting machinery and installed, alongside the manifestation markings, by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert fitters.

The logos were created at different sizes and with some slight variations in detail, depending on where they were to be situated, with the final effect being a professional and impressive, fully branded appearance throughout the building.
