CUSTOM CREATED MANIFESTATION

Manifestation markings are required by building regulations and are necessary to protect against potentially serious injury. The Window Film Company are experts at the creation, supply and installation of these markings, offering both standard and custom created manifestation.

Building regulations require that markings are on glass of a certain height – usually glazing such as glass partitions or glass doors – in order to make them easily visible to the naked eye. The markings are required at two heights on the glass, with this heights specifically required to ensure that they are immediately visible. For the same reason, the markings must provide a contrast with the background, which is why Frostbrite frosted film from The Window Film Company is a popular manifestation choice.

Once applied to the glass, Frostbrite frosted window film gives glass the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass; delivering precisely the level of contrast required for manifestation markings. Another benefit to this window film is that it can be computer cut to create wording, logos or other designs, providing the opportunity for making bespoke, custom created manifestation.

That was the option pursued by the owners of this modern office in London, choosing to use branding elements to create the necessary manifestation markings across over 30 linear metres of glass.

The design was created in two different ways. For some parts of the office the logo was created by computer cutting it from Frostbrite frosted film, seeing a band of Frostbrite placed across the glass with the logo cut from the film, delivering a stylish manifestation solution, along with an element of privacy for those working the other side of the glass.

The second method saw the logo created in Frostbrite frosted film and applied to the glass, meaning that the only element visible on the glass was the frosted logo.

Both options meet manifestation requirements and provided the office with a stylish, professional look in keeping with the rest of the contemporary style of the office, with each panel fitted by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert installers.
