Manifestation markings may be a regulatory requirement for glazing of a certain size, but they also provide an opportunity to add a stylish new look, signage or branding elements to glass. Since being founded in 1998 The Window Film Company has been creating and installing manifestation solutions throughout the country, delivering creative and stylish glass markings for a wide range of clients in an extensive array of locations.
Manifestation window film is required for one main purpose; to ensure that glass is easily visible. By adding markings to glass, it can be ensured that glass is seen, in turn avoiding potentially painful and dangerous accidents. These markings are required by building regulations on glazing of a particular size, with glass partitions or doors being the most typical example. While markings must be of a minimum size and must also feature at two specific locations on the glazing, as long as the markings provide a suitable contrast with the background, manifestation markings can take on the appearance of your choice.
For this project, the client decided to incorporate a number of sleek and stylish geometric lines into their manifestation solution, a scheme in keeping with their branding, while also giving the glass a stylish, professional and impressive new look. It was also decided that the manifestation should be used to deliver an element of privacy - the glazing in question provided partitions and doors for a number of meeting rooms throughout the office space.
It was decided that the manifestation would be created using Frostbite frosted window film, with the design cut from the film. As the name suggests, Frostbite frosted film from The Window Film Company gives glass the appearance of frosted or sandblasted glass. It serves to block the view from both sides of the glass without stopping light. It also provides the necessary contrast between the glass and the background (required to meet manifestation regulations) and can also be computer cut to deliver the desired appearance and effect for this project.
Each of the panels were cut and prepared by The Window Film Company’s in house print and graphics team, using state of the art computer cutting technology to ensure a perfect finish for each of the large frosted window film panels. While each panel was cut using machinery, each pane was also hand finished and inspected to ensure the perfect finish.
The film was then applied to glass throughout the premises by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert installers, delivering a perfect appearance, added privacy and a stylish, impressive and on-brand manifestation solution.
