The Window Film Company has completed the print and installation of an eye-catching, bespoke window film at an office in Central London.

One of the many benefits of window film is that it can be used to create bespoke, stylish and unique displays, by either printing directly onto film or precision cutting it to create letters, logos or other shapes or patterns.

Frostbrite frosted film is a particularly popular product for creating graphics. Once applied to the glass, Frostbrite gives glazing the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass – a stylish and contemporary way of delivering privacy in both residential and commercial settings. The film is perfect for cutting; The Window Film Company uses state of the art computer cutting technology to deliver precision reproductions of even the most intricate designs, while also using state of the art wide format and flatbed printers to print designs directly onto window film and other material.

For this project the requirement was for privacy, with a unique and eye-catching design to feature on it, providing the glass with an extra element of style. The client was able to supply the artwork, a pixelated-effect illustration, to be recreated in brilliant white ink, along with the sizes of each panel and the gaps in between each pane. This enabled The Window Film Company’s print and graphics team to ensure that the pattern flowed seamlessly from one panel to the next. Each of the panes was printed and computer cut to ensure a precision finish, before being checked by hand ahead of installation.

The fitting was completed by a team of The Window Film Company’s highly skilled installers, applying the film to the internal face of the glass and using their experience to ensure a perfect finish for each of the numerous panels.

The end product was immediately effective privacy – Frostbrite blocks the view from both sides of the glass without sacrificing natural light – while also delivering a striking new look.
