A popular way that this service is used is the creation and installation of bespoke manifestation markings, with this project providing an excellent example.

Manifestation markings are placed on large pieces of glass, usually floor to ceiling doors or glazed partitions and are required to ensure that glass is easily visible - in turn preventing accidents. These markings are required by building regulations, which dictate the minimum size and necessary positioning of the manifestation. They also state that the material used for manifestation markings must provide a suitable contrast with the background, to ensure maximum visibility. While there are stipulations about minimum size and location, there is plenty of scope to be creative, with a need fro manifestation often used to add stylish designs to glass. That was the route chosen in this example, with the client deciding to incorporate the company name and logo into the solution.

A popular choice for manifestation in Frostbrite window film. The reason for its popularity is that it provides the necessary contrast (the film, as the name suggests, gives glass the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glazing) as well as being suitable for printing onto or cutting to feature bespoke text, designs or logos.

The client was able to provide artwork featuring the company logo and a brief for what was required - a band of Frostbrite to run across several floor to ceiling glass partitions, with the logo cut from the frosted film to deliver a stylish and professional looking finish. This in turn allowed The Window Film Company’s print and graphics team to create a proof for approval, before using state of the art computer cutting equipment to create the film to the exact sizes and specifications required.

The film was then installed by a team of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified and experienced fitters, with the custom made manifestation meeting the appropriate regulatory requirements, while also giving the London based office a stylish and professional new look.
