GEOMETRIC GRAPHICS FOR PERFECT PRIVACY

The Window Film Company are industry leaders in the supply and installation of window film, including stylish, custom made solutions for privacy. This project saw the print of an eye-catching design onto frosted film, delivering a stunning privacy solution for an office in the City of London.

When The Window Film Company were approached to provide a bespoke privacy solution for a company in the capital, the choice of film was a straightforward one. Knowing that the client wanted to recreate a detailed design as part of the privacy screening, it was decided that Frostbrite frosted film was the most appropriate product.

Frostbrite is a high quality, long lasting and durable frosted window film, that when applied to glass, gives glazing the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glazing. In turn, this effect serves to block the view from both sides of the glass, while also allowing excellent levels of natural light to pass through the pane. This combination of attributes makes it a cost-effective way of giving glass an elegant and stylish look, perfect for use in both residential and commercial spaces.

Frostbrite has the added benefit of being an excellent surface on which to print. Using state of the art, wide-format printers, this allows The Window Film Company to recreate graphics, illustrations, text or branding elements on the film, in perfect, pin-sharp detail. On this occasion the design, supplied by the client, featured a repeated geometric shape, combining vivid white lines at a range of different angles to create a striking visual effect.

The film was required across three panels, so with the exact sizes of each panel supplied, The Window Film Company’s in-house print and graphics team were able to ensure each panel was printed perfectly in terms of size, ensuring that the pattern flowed seamlessly from one pane to the next.

Once the film was printed, computer cut and checked by hand, it was despatched with a team of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified and vastly experienced fitters. The installation took place on a date and time agreed between the client and The Window Film Company’s operations team, ensuring the work took place at the most appropriate time for the client. With the window film in place, the necessary privacy was achieved, with the view blocked entirely from both sides of the floor to ceiling glass. In addition, both sides of the glazing took on a stylish new look, giving that part of the office a sleek and professional new look.
