An application of coloured window film is a cost-effective way of giving glazing a brand-new and eye-catching new look. The Window Film Company has done exactly that, with the print and install of custom created, full colour graphics at a popular venue on London’s famous Carnaby Street.


Kingly Court is a three floor venue, set in the heart of Carnaby Street and playing home to a host of varied and exciting restaurants. The Window Film Company, having carried out work there previously, was contacted to help transform the lift area of the premises, replacing the existing graphics with a custom created, vibrant, colourful and contemporary design.

Having had the graphics created specifically for the job, the team at Kingly Court approached The Window Film Company for a solution. Having supplied a number of different options, the project team agreed on using an optically clear film, printed in full colour to display the bespoke graphics.

A site survey was undertaken by one of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified installers, allowing the in-house print and graphics team to create the graphics to the exact sizes necessary. The designs were printed using state of the art technology onto high quality optically clear window film, before being computer cut and finally checked by hand, ensuring that each panel was perfectly finished.

The installation date was agreed by The Window Film Company’s dedicated operations team, who worked closely with colleagues at Kingly Court to ensure the work was carried out at a suitable time and date.

The work was carried out by a team of The Window Film Company’s vastly experienced fitting team, whose first task was to remove the existing vinyl from the lift doors and surrounds. The graphics were then carefully applied to the lift doors and surrounds on all three floors of the court, transforming the glazing to feature a bold, attractive, colourful display.
