GLORIOUS GRAPHICS

The Window Film Company supplies and installs printed and cut graphics to help businesses give their premises a professional, stylish appearance. This project saw the application of custom created graphics to a showroom frontage in London.

Glass frontages are the ideal way of delivering a striking statement. Glass provides a blank canvas, providing the opportunity to display information, branding, imagery or graphics that are visible to passers-by and potential clients. Having been established in 1998, The Window Film Company are experts in the creation of bespoke solutions for shopfronts, with this project requiring the removal of existing graphics and the creation and application of new cut designs.

The new designs comprised three distinct sections, to be placed at different locations on the large  front facing window.

After discussions with the client, it was agreed that the graphics would be created by cutting the different designs from solid coloured vinyl, a bright and vibrant film that is long lasting and durable. The creation of graphics in this way is made possible by the use of high quality materials and state of the art computer cutting equipment, all housed at The Window Film Company’s in-house graphics and print department.

The artwork was provided by the client, allowing the graphics team to firstly provide accurate proofs for approval, before creating the necessary files for the precision cutting of each element. Each part of the design was computer cut before being finished and checked by hand, and sent for installation by a team of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified and vastly experienced fitters.

The date of the install and all associated logistics were organised by The Window Film Company’s Operations team, and on this occasion necessitated the use of a four metre tower to get access to the glass. The project also required the removal of some existing film, so the fitting team were prepared and able to carry out that part of the job before proceeding with the new installation.

Each element of the three designs was carefully installed, delivering a stylish appearance to the showroom, making the most of the contemporary glass frontage, delivering a professional, eye-catching look while still allowing for a view through the glass.
