Glass branding and decoration to improve the look of your windows and glass

Windows and glazing can, in conjunction with window film, provide the perfect opportunity for delivering cost efficient yet highly effective branding and decorative solutions. This recent project, delivered at a premises in Surrey, provides the perfect illustration of what can be achieved.

The Window Film Company were approached to deliver a solution that would deliver both branding and an element of privacy across a number of internal glazed panels.

The owners of the premises, a premium whiskey retailer, had decided that they wanted to feature a number of custom logos and phrases on the glass and provided specially created artwork to The Window Film Company along with a brief. With an understanding of exactly what was required, it was possible to make a recommendation; namely the use of computer cut Frostbrite.

Once applied, Frostbrite gives glazing the appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass, blocking the view from both sides of the glass with a contemporary stylish look. Frostbrite frosted window film can also be computer cut to create intricate reproductions of graphics, logos or text and it was this method that was chosen to deliver the appearance desired for this project.

The custom created artwork was supplied to The Window Film Company’s graphics team, who supplied initial proofs and samples for the client to sign off. With the green light given, work began on creating each panel. The process was twofold; the film was initially computer cut using state of the art technology, serving to deliver an exact reproduction of the supplied artwork. Each panel was then checked and finished by hand before being approved for installation.

The film was fitted by one of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified and vastly experienced installation teams, with the work carried out at a time and date agreed and organised by The Window Film Company’s dedicated operations team.

Once complete, the internal glazing was transformed to provide an eye-catching, professional looking and impressive feature, while also delivering an element of privacy.
