FUTURE FILMERS AT BUCKS SKILLS SHOW

Oct 20 2017

The Window Film Company was proud to be among a host of other businesses at the recent Bucks Skills Show, hosted at Adams Park; the home of Wycombe Wanderers FC.

Organised by the Bucks Skills Hub, the event was laid on for youngsters to meet with businesses and learn about development pathways and career options. With over 650 delegates attending, it was a busy afternoon for all involved, with visitors to The Window Film Company’s exhibit not just getting the opportunity to learn about the exciting range of films and printed graphics now available, but getting an opportunity to try installing it, too.

Representatives from marketing and the customer experience team were on hand alongside one of The Window Film Company’s expert installers, allowing visitors to get a full appreciation of not just the products and services utilised, but what it takes to run a successful business.

Mike Parkin, Marketing Manager explained:

We’re very excited about our industry, with new developments and advances in films, ink and printable media making it a dynamic and fun field in which to work. It’s great to take opportunities like this, that allow us to educate and open the minds of local youngsters, the majority of whom would probably never heard of what we do or why we do it. It’s was hugely enjoyable to see them engage and ask questions after they began to understand the world of possibilities we offer.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved as a company, so were keen to showcase that side of things, but most importantly, we wanted to get visitors involved. With this in mind we introduced an interactive element, asking visitors to choose the product that they felt was best for a particular situation, before asking them to install the chosen film themselves.

We were absolutely delighted with the turnout and the interest that our exhibit generated and it was a privilege to talk to a huge number of bright and motivated local youngsters.”
