HOME IS WHERE THE ART IS

We are proud to be a Chesham-based business, so when we had the chance to team up with a local designer to print and install some unique graphics based on our Buckinghamshire home, we jumped at the chance.

Sophie Honeybelle is a freelance illustrator with a host of experience in the creative industries and her most recent project involved the creation of a stylish print detailing the sights and local landmarks of Chesham. The town, located in the Chiltern Hills, is home to iconic local buildings, a diverse community, a bustling market and beautiful countryside and it’s all represented in the eye-catching and colourful original artwork.

When the piece came to the attention of a member of staff at The Window Film Company, an idea was born. If the artwork could be slightly reworked, it would make an ideal feature for some of the walls and glass partitions at head office. Happily, Sophie agreed to the idea and set to work on adjusting the artwork to fit with the required dimensions.

The updated artwork was printed onto two different products. Frostbrite frosted film was used for application to the glass partitions, while digital wallpaper – a fully customisable and paste free wallpaper – was used to adorn the walls. As with all graphics projects the print was carried out by The Widow Film Company’s dedicated graphics and print team, with the installation carried out by our own fitting teams.
