NEW GRAPHICS AHEAD OF TV DATE

The Window Film Company has printed and installed a run of eye-catching graphics in the tunnel area at Oxford United’s Kassam Stadium.

The graphics were printed onto 2.5 metre high boards and installed throughout the tunnel area at the home of the League One side, creating a dynamic look and feel in one of the most important parts of the stadium.

Using artwork supplied by the club, The Window Film Company printed the boards using state of the art UV technology. Each board features a member of the Oxford United playing squad, in a range of action poses.

The boards were created to replace the previous set of graphics, also printed and installed by The Window Film Company, which featured the previous season’s kit and a number of players that had since left the club.

With each board printed and checked at the Company’s Buckinghamshire headquarters, the installation was carried out by one of The Window Film Company’s experienced fitting teams. The project involved the removal of the existing boards, with care taken to keep them in a perfect state – the club had identified a number of panels that they wished to keep. With the existing boards removed, the new panels were affixed to the wall, creating an impressive and inspirational display. The boards cover both walls of numerous corridors and the players’ tunnel, meaning that the graphics are the last thing the players will see before taking to the field.

The work was carried out ahead of a televised fixture, helping to ensure that the stadium looks as good as possible in front of the watching TV audience, as well as providing an inspirational environment for the home team and an intimidating one for the opposition.
