Glare is a year round issue, but it is exacerbated as we move towards summer. The increase in sunshine can make for an uncomfortable environment, with light streaming through windows and making it difficult to focus on screens, paperwork or colleagues. An application of window film can deliver immediate relief without sacrificing the view, natural light or the appearance of your windows.
The Window Film Company offers a range of anti-glare window films, with a range of performance levels and appearances to choose from. In effect, the film works by applying a filter to your glass, think sunglasses for windows! Light is still allowed to pass through the glass, but the harshest elements are filtered out by the film.
Up to 95% of the glare can be reduced with film, negating the need for blinds or curtains which block both the view and natural light, often creating an even less pleasant environment in which to work or live. We recommend that where possible, anti-glare window film is applied to the internal face of glass, but external grade films are available should this not be possible. No specific after-care is required after installation; windows can be cleaned in the normal way after the install has taken place – unlike blinds or curtains which can quickly gather dust.
In addition to cutting down on glare, this range of films can also help to deliver a more comfortable internal environment – particularly useful during the height of summer. Depending on the size of your building and the number of windows you have, an application of film could also result in reduced energy costs and a lower carbon footprint. In short, there is no need to suffer at the hands of the sun this Spring. An application of film can be undertaken by one of our expert installation teams quickly and efficiently, with film advice, samples and quotes easily obtained by our team of friendly Account Managers.
