A High Wycombe based software company had a series of designs and images that they wanted incorporated throughout their premises, and The Window Film Company was enlisted to help. The brief was to recreate the images in full colour on a material that could be applied to a number of walls throughout the office, making digital wallpaper the ideal choice of material.

Digital wallpaper can be applied to flat surfaces including plaster, painted walls and wood, with the durable nature of the product making it suitable for application in high traffic locations such as corridors and reception areas. It begins life as a completely blank product and is printed onto to create a fully bespoke decorative solution.

The Window Film Company were supplied with a range of high resolution images and samples were printed and supplied to the client. With the proofs agreed, the print work was undertaken – each section of wallpaper printed by the in-house print and graphics team.  Each panel is checked and finished by hand, with strict quality control checks ensuring only the highest possible quality products are despatched for installation.

With the wallpaper printed and cut to the appropriate size, the work was completed by one of The Window Film Company’s fully trained and vastly experienced installation teams. As well as being a bespoke and unique decorative solution, digital wallpaper also benefits from a non-paste application process. Unlike traditional wallpaper, the product has an adhesive back allowing it to be applied without the mess and equipment required of a paste based application. The fitting was completed outside office hours to ensure the minimum of disruption to what is a busy office.

With the fitting complete, the office was immediately transformed – the wallpaper providing a professional yet eye-catching feature, brightening up what had previously been uninspiring white walls.
