Watford Football Club ended the 2015/16 season with promotion to the Premier League and here at The Window Film Company we’re proud to have installed a range of graphics to help ensure that the Hornets’ Vicarage Road Stadium is fit for the top flight.

Over a number of visits, our teams of installers fitted a number of different solutions throughout the stadium and we’re delighted to be able to give you a visual tour of the finished work via the video below. The three minute film shows the applications that took place in the concourse of the family stand, executive boxes, hospitality areas, bars as well as the London Colney based training complex.

Bespoke graphics, designs and photographs were installed throughout the 20,000 seater stadium, each designed to enhance the look and feel of the venue, making it a professional environment for players and staff, whilst ensuring it a welcoming and memorable experience for guests and supporters.

Family Stand concourse

As the designated area for families, it was deemed important to make the entrance and concourse of the family stand to be as bright, colourful and welcoming as possible. This was achieved by applying printed brick vinyl to walls throughout. The unique nature of brick vinyl allows it to be applied directly onto exposed brick, allowing for the decoration of previously difficult surfaces. A range of graphics were installed, including images that had been created and submitted by some of Watford's young fans.

Hospitality Areas

An exclusive area of the stadium, hospitality areas were adorned with bespoke digital wallpaper. Corridors featured black and white images from the club's history, whilst Elton John's executive box was decorated with wallpaper featuring previously unseen images of the lifelong Watford fan and pop superstar. Bricky vinyl was also applied to some of the dining areas, covering what was previously a plain, printed surface.

Bars and Tunnel

Further brick vinyl was applied to the bar areas, with the famous Watford badge printed and installed to reinforce the club identity, whilst large images featuring memorable moments from Watford's past were also fitted. The players tunnel was enhanced with a large Watford crest, with the entrance to the pitch fitted with club logos cut from full colour printed vinyl.

Training Complex

The London Colney based trainign complex was enhanced with the application of a range of digitally printed wallpaper. This element fo the work included a large and dominating custom created mural, featuring inspirational text and images of successful sportsmen from other sports. Wallpaper was fitted in the dining area as well as throughout the gym, providing the players with an inspiring and impressive environment in which to work.
