NEW PRINTER, NEW OPPORTUNITIES

Part of the reason for The Window Film Company’s recent move to larger premises was to allow for continued growth. With the number of clients and jobs continuing to rise, additional space, staff and equipment is all necessary, with the most recent investment a new flatbed printer.

The new printer, an Oce Arizona 460 GT, was delivered and installed in February and it is already hard at work creating high quality, full colour print for use in a range of situations. The purchase brings the total of printers used by The Window Film Company to three, with additional plotting, cutting and slitting equipment meaning that virtually every request can be catered for.

The additional printer will provide greater print capacity, allowing for the delivery of the increasing number of print projects being undertaken. It will also allow for jobs to be printed at the same high standard, but at a faster rate – in turn allowing for quicker turnaround times without any reduction in quality. Perhaps the most exciting development however, is the option to print on to a host of alternative surfaces.

The UV printer has been specifically developed to provide near-photographic print quality at any size, reproducing graphics or images on rigid or flexible media. As well as continuing to print onto film products such as frost, optically clear and digital wallpaper, the new equipment is capable of printing onto more heavy duty material such as metal and wood, perfect for the creation of hoardings or external signage.

Printed graphics continue to be hugely popular, with creative clients using print to solve and enhance a range of situations. By printing onto optically clear film it is possible to recreate even the most complicated of patterns in crystal clear full colour, delivering an eye-catching feature that is ideal for application to storefronts or for other branding purposes. Frostbrite frosted film is a tough, durable film that gives glass an acid etched effect - perfect for privacy. It is also an excellent surface for printing onto, allowing for the creation of bespoke solutions, often used on glass partitions. Digital wallpaper can be printed to feature the design or graphics of your choice and can be applied to walls and doors. With access to new state of the art print technology, The Window Film Company can now print onto a host of other flat surfaces, with high quality results delivered and installed nationwide.
