BACK TO SCHOOL. AGAIN!

Since being established in 1998, The Window Film Company has worked hard to forge a reputation for a professional and trustworthy service. We view repeat business as the ultimate compliment and we were therefore delighted to be asked to carry out additional work at a North London school recently.

Having completed an installation of printed graphics earlier in the year, it was a privilege to be asked to carry out further work at the school – adding further bespoke designs to windows throughout the premises.

Printed graphics are an increasingly popular way of adding an extra element to glass in a wide variety of situations. By adding full colour designs to glazing it is possible to completely transform not just the appearance of the area, but the entire feel and atmosphere of the area. This is of particular importance in locations such as schools, where increasing care and attention is being taken to create an atmosphere most conducive to education and learning.

As with the previous install, it was agreed that the film used would be Frostbrite frosted film. Once applied, the film gives glass the appearance of acid-etched or sandblasted glass, delivering a stylish privacy solution without the expense of replacement glass. Frostbrite benefits from being highly durable and long lasting – important for use in busy and high traffic locations such as schools, whilst also providing an excellent surface on which to print.

Using state of the art wide format printers, The Window Film Company is able to reproduce images, graphics and other designs in full colour, at near photographic quality. The school were able to provide high resolution artwork of the desired designs and with proofs supplied and approved, printing could commence.

All graphics are printed in-house allowing for constant quality control. Each and every print job is carefully monitored during the print process, before being hand finished and prepared ahead of installation. With the panels printed, the installation was carried out by one of The Window Film Company’s fully trained and vastly experienced fitting teams, each of whom operates nationwide.

The installation was carried out at a pre-agreed date and time, with the appointment made at a time designed to create the absolute minimum of disruption to the facility. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently, with the installation complete to a high standard with a minimum of impact on the school's working day.

The finished project left the school with a range of individual, bespoke designs throughout the premises, delivering both privacy and a professional yet bright and attractive appearance , beneficial for the staff and students and welcoming for visitors.
