Business premises have numerous requirements, including signage, privacy, manifestation and branding – all elements that The Window Film Company were able to create and install as part of a Central London office fit out.

The Window Film Company has over fifteen years of experience in the design, print, and installation of a range of window films and associated products, enabling the Buckinghamshire based company to provide solutions to a range of issues in a single installation.

The first requirement was for signage. To create the desired effect, the detail was printed onto optically clear film and then applied to Perspex. By printing onto optically clear film it is possible to recreate intricate designs, images or text without the need for cutting or weeding. This ensures an absolutely perfect finish, whilst giving the appearance of cut graphics.Branding is important to all businesses, and incorporating that brand throughout premises is vital to portraying a professional image. The second aspect of the job required the installation of a number of pieces of film that displayed the Company logo as well as transforming the colour of glass partitions to represent the corporate style.

Transforming the colour of glass can be done a number of ways. Our range of rainbow film will give your glass colour without obscuring the view, and is available in 20 different shades. On this occasion, a specific colour match was required, so it was decided to print the colour directly onto our Frostbrite frosted film.Frostbrite is a versatile and durable film that gives glass the classic appearance of acid etched or sandblasted film; an attractive way of achieving privacy. The company logo was incorporated into the print, and the frosted film applied to a glass partition.

Manifestation is required in order to meet health and safety legislation. The main reason for manifestation is to make glass visible and to avoid accidents. There is guidance as to where it must appear and the minimum size or any markings, but there is no definitive rule that dictates how the manifestation appears. This allows companies and individuals to be creative with their manifestation requirement. On this occasion it was decided that a large band of film should be applied to glass throughout the office, supplying both privacy and meeting the required standard for manifestation.To make this a bespoke solution, a London skyline silhouette was computer cut from the film, making the functional requirement for privacy and manifestation into an eye-catching feature.

The three different products supplied and installed by The Window Film Company provided vital components of the office in manifestation and signage and in meeting these requirements helped create a bight, inspiring and aesthetically pleasing workspace.
