175 Micron Clear Safety / Security Window Film is an optically clear, high grade safety / security film. Extensively used for bomb blast protection. This security film upgrades glass to meet requirements of BS 6206 and BS EN 12600 Class 1B1. Creates an invisible yet potentially life-saving protective barrier by reducing the risk of breakage during impact and holding glass fragments in place if breakage occurs. Security Window Film offers high level of protection to both personnel and property in the event of deliberate or accidental breakage.

This safety film is available in three roll widths - 1524mm, 1220mm and 500mm. Select the width you require from the drop down menu on the right.

All values for engineering parameters are determined by the manufacturers using independent and certified testing laboratories. Results may vary slightly according to glass type.

The installation process is straightforward, but due to the thickness of this film, we recommend the purchase of a heavy duty squeegee for application. The DIY window film instructional video left will show you how to apply Clear Safety and Security Window Films.

Because Safety and Security Window Films are thicker, they are slightly more difficult to install than a standard window film. However, if you follow our video fitting instructions carefully you should be able to achieve a good finish.

This type of DIY window film has to be squeegeed harder to ensure that you get out as much water as possible. If the window film looks smooth and bubble free immediately after the installation, then any water bubbles that appear after will dry out through the film.

Safety and Security Window Film cannot be computer cut to size, so it is only available to buy on a roll, but that does mean that it is economical to buy. The instructions show you how to trim the film to the window film.

The Window Film Company policy is to despatch all orders received before 1pm the same working day. Wherever possible, orders placed after this time will also be despatched the same day, but due to courier deadlines this cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that deliveries do not take place over the weekend, so orders placed on Friday will be due for delivery on Monday, whilst orders placed over the weekend will be despatched on the next working day. Orders are delivered by courier.
