This project delivered on two requirements; branded manifestation markings, cut and installed by The Window Film Company at an office premises in North London.

If you are wondering what manifestation markings are, allow us to explain. Simply put, they are markings placed onto glass (usually large panes such as glass doors or partitions) to ensure that the glazing is easily visible; in turn preventing potentially nasty accidents and damage. These markings are required by Building Regulations, which also lay out the minimum size, confirm the required positioning of the markings while also making it clear that any markings must provide a clear contrast with the background.

As long as these requirements are met, then manifestation markings can take on almost any appearance, making them a great opportunity to add a custom look to glazing.

For this project, the client wanted to use the need for manifestation markings to add branding to the glass. They were able to supply custom created artwork to The Window Film Company’s in-house print and graphics team, who were in turn able to use state of the art computer cutting technology to create the design.

The film used was a white vinyl, delivering a bright and vibrant appearance, elevating the appearance of the glazing, adding branding throughout the office and also meeting manifestation requirements.

The end product was an impressive, stylish and professional appearance for the office, with the striking geometric design providing an eye-catching feature.
