PARTIAL PRIVACY AND MANIFESTATION MARKINGS

Frostbrite is a long lasting and durable window film that has been developed to give standard glazing the stylish appearance of acid etched or sandblasted glass. This effect is popular as it delivers a contemporary and appealing aesthetic upgrade, but it also provides immediate two-way privacy, without sacrificing excessive levels of natural light.

The performance and appearance of Frostbrite frosted film lead to it being chosen for application to glass partitions throughout a modern office in London.

The film was applied by a team of The Window Film Company’s expert fitters, with the frost effect installed on 17 panes across the premises.

The film was installed at strategic locations on the glass to deliver an element of privacy and a decorative upgrade, while also serving to meet manifestation requirements.

Manifestation markings are required by building regulations and are necessary to ensure that glass that would otherwise be potentially hard to see is immediately visible – in turn avoiding potentially dangerous accidents. Regulations dictate that any markings should provide a contrast with the background and should be at specific points on the glass, with the exact location depending on the size of pane.
