CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD WINNERS 2016

The Window Film Company has been announced as the winner of the “Excellence in Customer Service Award” at the prestigious 2016 Bucks Business Awards.

The annual awards provide an opportunity to recognise high performing companies in a range of categories, with the winners announced at a gala event. Having earlier been named as one of the three businesses on the shortlist, The Window Film Company were named as outright winners at the black tie event on Thursday 16 June.

The entry process was an in depth procedure which included the requirement for details on financial performance, a comprehensive business plan and a range of other supporting evidence. The next phase of the process involved a visit from an independent judge, who took time to experience the business first hand, speaking to members of staff from each department.

Colleagues from each area of the business were on hand to collect the award, amongst them Managing Director Micky Calcott. In speaking of the announcement, he said:

“We’re extremely proud to have been recognised with this award. It’s a genuine team effort – each part of the business works incredibly hard to deliver the best customer service possible and I’m delighted that all the effort that my colleagues put in on a daily basis has been rewarded.

It was fantastic to be able to learn more about the other businesses that were nominated for the various awards and having got a full appreciation of the quality of entrants, to win was all the more pleasing.

Customer service is a priority for us and we have implemented processes and practices to ensure we deliver a consistently high service for our wide ranging customer base. To win the award is a great achievement, but we won’t be stopping now. We’re constantly looking for ways in which we can improve the work we do, and this acknowledgement will serve to spur us on.”

This award follows the winning of another prestigious prize – Andy Parkin, a Director at The Window Film Company was named “Outstanding Employee of the Year” by the FIS (Finishes and Interiors Sector) earlier in 2016.
